American Federation of
Martial Arts (AFMA)The purpose of the American Federation of Martial Arts is to popularize and develop the spirit of Karate in the proper direction by prompting and strengthening friendly relations among its member organizations and their members in all Countries, and to achieve the advantage of World unification of all Empty Hand Styles in the Martial Arts, thereby contributing to the perfection of the human character. AFMA was created in 1979 by Hanshi Ennever and presently has over 29,000 active members.

USA National Karate Do
Federation (USANKF)
The USA-NKF is the governing body of Olympic Karate in the United States. This distinction is given to the USA-NKF by the United States Olympic Committee. The USA-NKF is an international competition circuit that is a member of the World Karate Federation. Each year a team of competitors, representing the USA, competes all over the world.
Amateur Athletic Union (AAU)
The AAU is a multi-sport organization that prides itself on being the elite most competition. The karate portion of the Union is no different. Holding local state, regional, national, and international events. The AAU is traditional karate at it's best.
